The Department of Information Technology exists to provide the best service and technology to Olivet Nazarene University to both foster and further the University’s educational goals in support of faculty, staff, and students.
Our team consists of nearly 40 full-time employees including strategists, analysts, managers, programmers, developers, specialists, helpers and more. We also employ a number of highly qualified student workers.
As part of the 3-year technology initiative entitled "Project IT3," Olivet is moving towards Microsoft-based technology for managing campus computers and our network directory.
As of October 1, 2012, all Olivet email (employee and student) is active on the Office 365 platform hosted by Microsoft. This move is required by Microsoft as they are discontinuing the Live Mail service as well as the service that was hosting employee email.

The Information Technology department offers students an opportunity to work flexible hours in a friendly environment. Students are working in the areas of pc repair, networking, media, programming and web development.
