  • Dennis Seymour (Director of Information Technology)

    Leads technology programs in support of the mission of the University, with focus on academic, administrative and infrastructure technologies.

    Provides overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Information Technology department and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the university's policies.

    Responsible for budget, interviewing, hiring and training employees, as well as assigning and directing work, appraising performance, and addressing/resolving complaints and problems.

  • Bert Ackerman (Senior Information Systems Manager)

    Provides for overall management of Information Systems duties including programming, systems analysis, user instruction, documentation management, security, software management, and hardware management.

  • Barb Axmark (Training Manager)

    Provides technical training and support for faculty and staff for software used at ONU.

  • Rob Blystone (Help Desk Technician)

    Primary contact for phone, email and voicemail technical support. Processes work orders for faculty and staff. Assists in giving direction to student data entry technicians. Generates routine lists and labels for faculty and staff.

  • Mike Bretzlaff (Web Programmer)

    Writes and revises programs for the ONU website, the Shine.fm website, and related sites using a number of programs and web development tools such as Perl, JavaScript, ASP and others. Works on interfacing with SQL and other databases

  • Bary Cruz-Reyes (Programmer/Analyst)

    Assists in administrative computer programming and user support. Responsible for maintaining the document imaging system (Doc e Scan) and developing customized forms and applications using Doc e Fill.

  • Gary Dearth (PC Repair Technician)

    Repairs and configures campus pcs, printers and peripherals for faculty and staff. Maintains campus weather site and provides specific technical support to Shine.fm Assists ONU students with computer problems and attaching their computer to the ONUnet.

  • Tim Dorsey (Telecommunications Assistant)

    Provides technical service on issues regarding Olivet's telecommunications system.

  • Jacob Garrett (Network Manager)

    Monitors, maintains, and upgrades Olivet campus network. Installs, maintains and administers ONU network servers.

  • Dave Giove (Web Developer & Visual Design Specialist)

    Performs duties that maintain, support, and enhance Olivet Nazarene University's websites. Responsibilities include web page creation and revision, graphics editing, and image scanning and enhancement. Also maintains ONU on iTunes U web presence and content.

  • Mark Goldfain (Systems Programmer)

    Aids in maintaining and improving the Olivet Nazarene University web site, specializing in database and e-commerce interactions with web pages.

  • Kevin Hatcher (Admissions Technical Support)

    Responsible for support of Admissions staff, workflow and communications with prospective students and applications.

  • Doug Hewett (IT Support Coordinator)

    Supports IT needs of the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies offices (SGCS) by maintaining current technologies and introducing new ones.

  • Don Johnson (Broadcast Engineer/Electronic Technician)

    Engineer of campus television and shine.FM radio station.

  • Scott Knudson (Technical Support Manager)

    Manages the Help Desk and front office areas of IT. Supports campus scheduling software (Astra Schedule) and manages IT resources.

  • Jonathon Krasnichan (Help Desk Technician)

    Provides technical training and support for faculty and staff for software used at ONU.

  • Brent Long (Programmer/Analyst)

    HP administrative computer maintenance, user account maintenance, EZ spooler administration, Colleague module administration, Colleague and information database programming, and software and hardware support. Solaris administration, Oracle database administration, Blackboard administration and support.

  • Josh Lundmark (Web Programmer)

    Writes and revises programs for the ONU web site and for other applications using a number of programs such as PHP, Perl, JavaScript, ASP and others. Works on interfacing on olivet.edu with SQL and other databases.

  • Mike Mangino (Purchasing and Technical Support)

    Purchases and provides technical support for all personal computer hardware, software, and peripherals. Provides training, technical support, and maintenance for the campus- wide phone mail system. Maintains emergency 911 database.

  • Lyndon Matson (Help Desk Technician)

    Primary contact for phone, email and voicemail technical support. Processes work orders for faculty and staff. Assists in giving direction to student data entry technicians. Generates routine lists and labels for faculty and staff.

  • Thane Moore (Technical Coordinator of Video and Academic Support)

    Coordinates all activities competed by Media Services. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of video production and electronic classroom across campus.

  • Emmanuel Musyoka (PC Repair Technician)

    Repairs and configures campus PCs for faculty and staff. Assists ONU students with computer problems and attaching their computer to the ONUnet.

  • Amy Nuxoll (Programmer/Analyst)

    Assists in user support and administrative programming for Datatel software.

  • Chris O'Brien (Network Administrator)

    Provides support of network servers, software, connectivity, and technical PC support to faculty, staff, and students. Administrator of campus e-mail system, network data backup, Web conferencing system, Web cameras, and kiosk stations.

  • Adam Ollervidez (Media Production Assistant)

    Assists the Technical Coordinator of Video and Academic Support with video and academic needs while overseeing video productions.

  • Matthew Ozment (Graduate Assistant)

    Assists the Technical Coordinator of Video and Academic Support with video and academic needs.

  • Keith Reel (Webmaster)

    Develops web applications for ONU. Collaborates with marketing and other departments to publish content on www.olivet.edu and related sites using industry standard content management systems.

  • Jeff Rice (Network Manager)

    Responsible for maintaining the backbone of Olivet's network; ensuring that 200+ switches have the highest possible up-time; managing and maintaining the network core; maintaining the firewall and web filtering software; diagnosing problems with data communications lines; and implementing new technologies.

  • Kurt Schwob (Audio Visual Production Assistant)

    Assists the Technical Coordinator of Facilities and Events with campus and event needs.

  • Rick Shelton (Coordinator of Mechanical Repair and Video Systems)

    Coordinates and assists in the maintenance and repair of electronic equipment campus wide. Repairs, maintains, and fabricates mechanical and electronic equipment.

  • Sarah Slimmer (Help Desk Technician)

  • Marsha Smith (Programmer/Analyst)

    Assists in administrative computer programming and user support. Responsible for Blackboard portal administration, account and course maintenance, and user support.

  • Scott Smith (Network Specialist/Application Developer)

    Assists in network computer programming and support. Helps monitor, maintain and upgrade the Olivet Nazarene University campus network. Writes and revises programs for the ONU network and for other applications using a number of development programs and databases.

  • Matt Steinacker (Technical Coordinator of Facilities and Events)

    Coordinates all technical needs for sound, stage lighting and video for Olivet sponsored events. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of sound and stage lighting systems across campus.

  • Richard Tran (Senior Technology Support & Repair Technician)

    Repairs and configures campus PCs for faculty and staff. Assists ONU students with computer problems and attaching their computer to the ONUnet.

  • Ben White (Assistant Coordinator of SGCS IT Support)
