9/11/2006 - Student Computer Work Being Accepted
The Department of Information Technology is now accepting student computers for work. The following procedures should be followed:
1. The student must go by the cashier's window and pay the initial fee then bring the receipt and computer to the IT Help Desk.
2. For laptops we need the power cord along with the computer. For desktops we just need the main unit.
3. We cannot guarantee repair times but will do our best to get the computer returned in a timely manner.
4. The student will be contacted when their computer is ready for pick up. If there are any additional charges they must be paid at the cashier's window before we will release the computer back to the student.
5. We can only accept up to 10 student computers at any given time. It is recommended that the student contact the IT Help Desk at ext. 5302 to confirm that a spot is available.
