5/19/2009 - Summer Computer Update Process
As part of the on-going computer maintenance program at ONU, it is necessary to regularly upgrade existing software applications and run maintenance checks on all university-owned computers. This process helps provide a reliable and efficient computing environment for the entire university. For more details on the specific steps being performed, see below after the update schedule listing.
May 21st marks the beginning of this effort which runs through the month of July. The maintenance process takes an estimated 2 hours per computer and we appreciate your patience as this service is performed. To assist with planning the use of your computer, a schedule is provided below to indicate when the planned maintenance affects each area of campus. Please note that this schedule is only for individual faculty and staff computers. Lab computers, teaching stations, and student worker computers will be addressed at a later time.
Update Schedule Note: These dates are subject to change as the summer progresses. Please check back for updates.
