On May 25th, from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. the ShoreTel phone system will be undergoing a software update in order to fix a ShoreTel call record database issue affecting reporting which was recently discovered. This needs to be addressed as soon as possible. The aforementioned time slot was the only one ShoreTel had available for the update process in the coming weeks.
During this timeframe the following issues may be experienced intermittently:
- Active internal/external phone calls may be dropped during the window
- There may be periodic disruptions in the ability to make and receive phone calls
- The ShoreTel communicator software will be non-functional at times
- All ShoreTel phones will restart at least once in order to download updates
This update will allow us to address the call record database issue we are seeing.
