Olivet has partnered with the technology security training company KnowBe4. A security assessment by KnowBe4 showed that our Olivet community is very vulnerable to email phishing attacks.
Please help us by doing the following:
Go to My.Olivet.edu and use the Important Security Training link in the announcements section.
Please report suspected phishing emails by using the Phish Alert button, at the top of your email if it is available. Not all email applications will display this option. If you do not have this option, just delete the suspect email.
We will notify you as we add more, important training topics, to your KnowBe4 security training. We will also send out simulated phishing tests regularly so you can practice the skills you will learn as part of your training. Be on the look-out for these in your Olivet email inbox.
We need to defend our organization against cybercrime, and security is everyone’s job. You are the last line of defense in keeping yourself and our university safe.
