The Department of Information Technology exists to enhance the University’s educational goals by providing the best technical support to ONU students, faculty, staff, and guest user groups. Users receive a broad scope of initial technical support from the IT Help Desk and continued facilitation of communication and support when those needs exceeding the scope of Help Desk support require escalation to appropriate teams or technicians with corresponding responsibilities.

IT Help Desk
The IT Help Desk provides initial assistance with all school resources and escalates requests as necessary to facilitate the best communication and support from the department. The Help Desk offers critical support for the most common technology needs in classrooms, shared learning spaces, and faculty and staff offices; technicians also provide limited support for personal devices and recommend helpful resources when the need exceeds the scope of support they are able to provide.
