Leads technology programs in support of the mission of the University, with focus on academic, administrative and infrastructure technologies. Provides overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Information Technology department and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the university's policies. Responsible for budget, interviewing, hiring and training employees, as well as assigning and directing work, appraising performance, and addressing/resolving complaints and problems.
Provides for overall management of Information Systems duties including programming, systems analysis, user instruction, documentation management, security, software management, and hardware management.
Coordinates all activities competed by Media Services. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of video production and electronic classroom across campus.
Manages the Infrastructure team that is responsible for data center, cloud computing, wired and wireless connectivity, Internet connection, telecommunications, identity and information security.
